  • Current Sermon Series:

“One Step At A Time”, is a series that will teach us how to live in the mist of change and struggle.  In this series we’ll be preaching through the entire book of 1 Thessalonians.  Paul begins this book by encouraging the infant faith of this congregation, a faith that as we’ll see was already being talked about everywhere in the world. They had a strong faith and yet they struggle with the changed world, the changing church dynamic, and it had come under attack both from within itself and from the outside world. Maybe you are struggling with doubts about what step to take in the midst of change taking place around you? Maybe there are doubts, big time doubts about whether or not you are a Christian? Maybe even bigger than that, maybe you wonder if the Bible is true? Whatever it is, doubt and a lack of faith is something that every one of us who are Christians will wrestle with for our entire lives. And so the question before us is this. If the Gospel is true, and it is, what are we to do to in the face of overwhelming doubt or when our faith is threatened? I believe Paul’s answer for us in 1 Thessalonians is to just take it “One Step At A Time” with God.
